Star Wars: A Hew Hope was the first Star Wars, film ever made and was aired on May 25th 1977 in America, the film cost $11 Million to produce. This is considered the marking point for Science fiction movies due to the fact that before the first Star Wars movie, Sci-fi movies weren’t that successful due to the fact that they seemed to unrealistic for the target audience at the time. When the plan for the film and it’s merchandise was first introduced George Lucas was ridiculed for creating the film and the merchandise like stated previously due to the fact that Sci-Fi wasn’t that successful during this span of time. After the film was aired globally, it earned a total of $775 Million due to the fact that it was the very first Sci-fi film that was successful. The only Sci-Fi film that successful out competed the first Star Wars film was E.T the Extraterrestrial. George Lucas has remade and reaired the original Star Wars film several times as well as a couple of others with different scenes as computer generated characters such as Jabba the Hut making an appearance. Currently the next Trilogy of the Star Wars story is been made by Disney Studious due to the fact that they bough the right to the franchise along with several other ones in the early 2010’s. This is classified as historical and movies as well as entertainment.
