Timeline Research 1960: The Flintstones

A 1960’s animated Televised animated Cartoon that is about a family of cavemen that go through an average family life each day but often a twist happens sometime later within each of the episodes. The first episode was aired on September 30th 1960 and was produced by the company Hanna-Barbera. What made the Flintstone’s so popular was due to the fact that it was modern day life set during the stone age and this success lasted for thirty years until a rival company produced another cartoon that is The Simpsons.I believe that the Flintstones was one of the marking points in animation history due to the fact that a wide range of animation have been based the Flintstones since they first aired such as the The Simpson and Futurama. This is classed under entertainment and historical.
